In 2014, Natasha left her career in architecture and Aline, her movie character designer lifework, to start our first business: providing longarm quilting services. The problem was that neither of us had any idea how to free motion quilt! Much less how to free motion quilt in a way that crafters would see value in!

Fast forward to now; we teach globally to more than 2500 students and have won 18 international awards for our wholecloth quilts, including best categories, in Paducah, Houston, and Canada, to name just a few.

Movement is all that matters for us, and we move quite a bit: we've created the Orbital Board, our own minimalist ruler line, a sustainable fabric line, a board game for quilters, published two books, taught at events, on tv, at fairs, online courses, created a youtube channel, and most importantly, we created our own methods!

It is these methods that make quilting feel like a breeze, that shorten the time to master free motion quilting with confidence, that lead the way to audition and select designs for any kind of quilt... Methods that pave the way for a quilter's creative carnival with lots of beauty and fun. Well, we are Brazilians, after all!

All we ever wanted, from the very beginning in our 20s, was freedom to create, and now we have the pride and joy to spread it among quilters in the whole world! Our background in arts and design did help a lot, and a personal interest in neuroscience led to maximum efficacy to get to our goal: making free motion quilting fun, easy, and beautiful!

That's probably why we do so much experimenting: techniques, styles, languages... From minimalist quilts to very traditional aesthetics. If there's quilting, we are snooping!

We know "beginner friendly" and "custom" do not go together very often, and you'll be even more surprised when we add that: even experienced professional quilters love this method at a jaw-dropping level!
