Hey there, fellow quilters! I’m Manon, and I’m excited to connect with you and share my passion for free motion quilting. I can still remember the day I brought my long arm home so many years ago (I even named her Fernanda... but that's a story for another time). It was a day filled with excitement and anticipation, knowing that I was about to embark on a new chapter in my quilting journey.

Like many of you, I started with simple stitches and a whole lot of trial and error. But as I explored different techniques and experimented with my long arm, I discovered the joy of motif stacking—a simple approach that has brought a new level of depth and personality to my quilts. Free motion quilting wasn't just a skill I picked up; it was a journey of exploration, experimentation, and discovery. I spent hours doodling and playing with designs, constantly pushing myself to try new things and expand my repertoire.

With over 22 years of experience in teaching quilting, I've had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and passion with quilters of all levels.
